Membership
Contact the SAL Commander to see if you are eligible. You will need to use the Eligibility Dates as listed on the Membership Page. To be eligible you must be a male descendant (includes stepsons and adopted sons) of a member of the American Legion. You would also be eligible if you are the male descendant of a Veteran who died in service during WW1, WW2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama or the Persian Gulf War. You would also be eligible if you are the male descendant of a Veteran who died subsequent to his/her honorable discharge from service in WW1, WW2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama or the Persian Gulf War.
